Welcome to Xtel. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our virtual landline services. By using Xtel, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part, please do not use our services.
2. Service Description
Xtel provides virtual UK landline numbers with call forwarding to mobile phones. Our services include:
- Virtual UK phone numbers
- Call forwarding to mobile devices
- Voicemail services
- Call recording (where legally permitted)
- IVR and call management features
3. Account Registration
To use Xtel, you must create an account with accurate information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.
4. Payment Terms
Subscription fees are billed monthly in advance. All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Prices are in GBP and include VAT where applicable. You may cancel your subscription at any time, with service continuing until the end of your billing period.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Xtel services for:
- Illegal activities or fraud
- Harassment or nuisance calls
- Spam or unsolicited marketing
- Any activity that violates Ofcom regulations
6. Service Availability
We strive for 99.9% uptime but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for service interruptions due to factors beyond our control, including network issues or force majeure events.
7. Limitation of Liability
Xtel's liability is limited to the amount you paid for services in the 12 months preceding any claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages.
8. Regulatory Compliance
Xtel operates in compliance with Ofcom regulations. As a communications provider in the UK, we adhere to all applicable telecommunications laws and standards.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or through our service. Continued use constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
